Killing Floor Perks Not Saving

I bought killing floor yesterday and have realised that my perk progress has not been saving after i leave the server new game starts.

If some of your perks have gone to 0 but not all of them or they appear to no longer be progressing at all it is likely that your stats have become corrupted and the game is failing to update them.
