Laminate floor ripped up and now it smells aweful.

I am considering having wood laminate. Before this i never did it before. Mix one part bleach with three parts water in the bucket. This can be caused by food smoke or even pet smells if you have pets in your home.

I worked in a lot of new construction houses. For tile laminate and hardwood floors a strong mop is a necessity in floor washing. How bad do they smell. Clean the subfloor with the mixed solution and let the floor dry thoroughly.

Water under laminate flooring. Before cleaning your floors soak the mop in hot water bleach and soap to clean or attach a new mop head. Occasionally i would see another installer on the job site installing a laminate floor. This helps remove any smells from mold or mildew and it disinfects the floor. If the water is not pervasive you may be able to extract it with a wet dry vacuum. To get rid of this odor you will want to first use something that s safe for the laminate flooring but also something that removes the smell while also killing any. Laminate flooring just as with any other type of flooring can develop odors on occasion.

However if the mop is dirty and smelly this could be contributing to the foul odor still present after you wash it. When the water reaches under laminate flooring the water must be removed immediately. I was installing mostly carpet an vinyl flooring. Open windows or pull air into the room using a fan.
