Leak In Ford Ranger Floor Drivers Side

Driver side front floor seemed dry until feeling under rug was slightly damp.

It seems to have gotten worse. It does seem to come down from the front filling the foot well. A week or two ago it was just a greasy area on the rubber floor mat now almost the whole mat has got this nasty greasy junk all over it. The photo above is an extreme example of rust along the drip rails but an example of what can happen.

Lol something oily seems to be leaking into the driver side floorboard. When it gets in behind the seam sealer or leak through the rust it runs down the windshield pillar and down the firewall to the floor. I have a 2002 ford focus of course now that it s paid off it s falling apart. I haven t touched it yet but i don t notice any kind of odor in the car.
