Resident ceramic sculptor agnes kang teaches everyday with experienced knowledge and passion. Any glazes washes and or colored slips are best cleaned up with wet paper towels though sponges are ok too. Use only wet methods to clean in our studio. Work fired at a local ceramics greenware shop may not be glazed in our studio.

The lee college ceramics studio will supply a limited number of safety goggles latex vinyl gloves and respirators. Lee college has been proudly educating baytown texas and the surrounding area since 1934. All glazes must be checked with instructor to ensure no lead enters the studio. We do not guarantee that we will have goggles or latex gloves available at all times.

The lee college instructional open computer lab provides computer access and support to all college students faculty and staff providing adequate access to up to date computing resources and services. Use a wet towel rag or a sponge to clean up clay. Who can use the lab. The ceramics lab is equipped with clay mixers and both electric and gas kilns.

Please make arrangements for your children while you are in the ceramics studio. We also provide an affordable small shared space that is a fully operational ceramic studio. For really horrible messes use the wet vac. It is highly recommended that you purchase your own goggles and gloves.
